As Lead UX Designer at Unit4, I spearheaded the development of the next major version of Unit4’s flagship ERP solution, Business World. This groundbreaking version was the first to be fully web-based and cloud-resident, designed in strict compliance with various national and international regulations regarding safety, reliability, and accessibility, particularly for (semi) governmental organizations.

Key achievements

  • Product Design strategy: Directed the creation of the next version of Unit4 Business World (formerly Agresso, now Unit4 ERP), a comprehensive suite of software management solutions that empower organizations with visibility, flexibility, and control over finances, projects, procurement, reporting, forecasting, and payroll.
  • Web Technology and Cloud Compliance: Ensured the ERP solution was fully web-based and compliant with stringent national and international regulations, making it suitable for use by (semi) governmental organizations.
  • Design Workshops and Prototyping: Organized design workshops, created high-fidelity prototypes, and established a design system, including style guides, front-end component libraries, and design principles.
  • User Validation and Collaboration: Validated early concepts with various user groups and collaborated closely with multiple stakeholders and development teams to refine the solution.
  • Design System Advocacy: Advocated for the adoption of the new design system that came from the new ERP platform across Unit4, ensuring consistency in other product lines and domains.
