As Lead UX Designer at WCC Group, I led a team of product managers and consultants to develop Horus, a new product in the WCC Group portfolio, using Lean UX methodology. The process involved facilitating workshops with internal stakeholders and policing experts, conducting in-depth research, and developing prototypes.

Key Achievements:

  • Leadership and Methodology: Led a team using Lean UX methodology to develop Horus, a new proposition for the WCC Group product portfolio.
  • Facilitation and Engagement: Organized and facilitated workshops with internal stakeholders and experts from policing agencies, focusing on user journey mapping exercises.
  • Comprehensive Research and Design: Conducted in-depth research through interviews with international police investigators, and created detailed personas and presentations to inform the design process.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Developed and tested prototypes to ensure Horus integrated effectively with the Elise ID platform and met user requirements.
  • Horus Application Development: Designed Horus to provide a 360-degree view for criminal investigations based on leads or operational information.
  • Single Search and PWA Strategy: Implemented a single search and Progressive Web App (PWA) strategy for easy adoption and immediate value in various contexts, including field operations with low bandwidth.
  • Strategic Product Naming: Named Horus in alignment with WCC’s branding strategy, maintaining consistency with other products.
